Need a ride? RTA has you covered during NBA All-Star Weekend

NBA All-Star Weekend has finally arrived here in Cleveland and if you're looking for a way to get around, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) is here to help. 

On Thursday, the transportation agency announced it's plans to service the Northeast Ohio community beginning Friday, February 18 through Sunday, February 20. 

GCRTA is offering a free, All-Star Trolley  that will travel along a special route connecting Public Square to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, the Wolstein Center, Cleveland Public Auditorium, and numerous downtown hotels and other points of interest.

The special line will run every 15 minutes on Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 11 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to midnight. 

The agency is also encouraging both locals and visitors to take advantage of it's rail stations, where guests can park for free and use the RTA mobile app to purchase a $5 all-day pass that can be used at any station to get directly to Tower City. From there, it's a short indoor walk to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. For a look at the available routes on the rapid to Tower City, click here
