Former UCLA coach says Josh Rosen could be Cleveland Browns' version of LeBron James

Josh Rosen made waves earlier this week when ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the UCLA quarterback would prefer to not play for the Cleveland Browns -- a claim Rosen didn't deny.

One of his school's former coaches, however, believes that Rosen should embrace his potential opportunity to play for the Browns, likening the situation to that of LeBron James' with the Cavaliers in an interview with TMZ Sports.

"Someone's gonna be the hero of Cleveland -- look what LeBron James did for the Cavaliers," said Rick Neuheisel, who coached the Bruins from 2008-11. "It's all possible. It's just going in there with the right attitude."

Asked about the potential of Rosen returning to school for his senior season, Neuheisel stated that he disagreed with that logic, pointing out that the Browns could still be in a position to take the former 5-star prospect a year from now. Neuheisel also said he believed Rosen is ready to make the leap to the pros, where he is expected to be one of the top prospects in the 2018 NFL Draft.

"This is your turn," Neuheisel said. "Go get it done."

Despite Rosen's apparent hesitance to play for the Browns, there have also been reports that Cleveland general manager John Dorsey isn't even enthused by the prospect of selecting the UCLA signal-caller. USC quarterback, Sam Darnold -- another top prospect in 2018 -- meanwhile, has stated that he'd welcome the opportunity to play for whichever team selects him down the road.

You can see Neuheisel's full comments on the matter in the video below.
