Watch: Browns' Jarvis Landry catches his 1st touchdown of season vs. Jaguars

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry caught his first touchdown of the season vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Entering their Week 12 matchup, Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield hadn't thrown a touchdown pass in three games, while wide receiver Jarvis Landry hadn't found the end zone all season.

Fortunately for the Browns' passing game, the Florida sunshine appears to have cured what has ailed them.

With an Aldrick Rosas' 54-yard field goal giving the Jacksonville Jaguars an early 3-0 lead, the Cleveland offense took over on its second drive of the game playing from behind. After their first drive resulted in a three-and-out, the Browns managed to find more rhythm, with Mayfield finding Landry for a 21-yard gain on an early rollout.

Four plays later, Cleveland had taken a 7-0 lead, with Mayfield ending the drive with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Landry.

The strong start for its passing game was a welcome one for Cleveland, which has spent its previous three games playing in inclement weather. While the Browns managed to amass a 2-1 record in that span, they did so by relying on a rushing attack that features two of the best running backs in the NFL in Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.

But between a clear forecast in Jacksonville and a Cleveland defense that has been decimated by injuries, there stood reason to believe the Browns will need to move the ball through the air on Sunday if they were going to advance to 8-3 on the year.

So far, so good.
