You're waking up to near RECORD COLD temperatures this morning with wind chills well BELOW ZERO in many spots!

Though we'll keep things dry through the morning, into this afternoon, another clipper system will push through bringing us a light accumulation of snowfall (trace to 1.00") generally NORTH of I-76. Highs today are expected in the upper 20s with overnight lows in the low 20s.

Our lake effect snow machine will kick in this evening after 8pm and through midday Saturday in our primary snow belt (Lake, Geauga & Ashtabula counties). 3"-6" of snow is possible! We'll finally "warm" temperatures above freezing Saturday afternoon in the mid 30s with low 40s on the way by Sunday.

A rain/snow mix is possible to wrap up our weekend.
