Hurricane Kenneth has been quickly weakening over the Pacific Ocean, far off the Mexican coast.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center says Kenneth had maximum sustained winds of 90 mph (150 kph) early Tuesday, down from its top force of 130 mph (210 kph).
It was centered about 1,465 miles (2,355 kilometers) west of the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula and was moving to the northwest at 10 mph (17 kph).
Meanwhile, the disorganized remnants of Tropical Storm Harvey have been dumping rain over Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. Forecasters say it's likely to regain tropical storm force after moving into the lower Gulf of Mexico late Tuesday.
