COVENTRY TOWNSHIP -- The National Weather Service has confirmed to the Summit County Emergency Management Agency that a tornado touched down in Coventry Township overnight.

A spokesman for the Summit County EMA says Barberton and Copley were the hardest hit areas during Sunday night's storm.
Tornado warnings were issued for Summit, Stark and Portage counties until 7:15 p.m. Sunday.
Wind was also an issue and many areas are dealing with flooding in the storm's aftermath.
