A swath of clouds and showers will push across the Northeast tomorrow.

A few rumbles of thunder are possible from the upper part of the mid-Atlantic coast to the southern Appalachians. A vigorous storm will take shape over the southern Plains.

Severe thunderstorms may erupt over the Red River Valley, with an extensive area of soaking rain and thunderstorms from the Colorado Front Range to the mid-Mississippi Valley. Most areas from Texas to Florida will be dry, with only an isolated threat for stray thunderstorms across the Deep South.

Dry air will filter across the northern Plains and into the Great Lakes region. A zone of showery weather will stretch across Montana and Wyoming.

The Pacific Northwest can expect dry weather to return, with sunshine expected from Washington to Arizona.
