The Northeast will be sunny, dry, breezy and cold tomorrow, with the exception of lake-effect snow battering areas downwind of the Great Lakes.

Some locations in the greater regions of Erie, Pennsylvania, and Buffalo and Watertown, New York, can expect several inches of snow tomorrow alone. Cool, cloudy and rainy weather will plague areas from the coastal Carolinas to the Gulf Coast and South Texas.

It is expected to be cold enough in southwestern Texas for precipitation to fall as a wintry mix. Otherwise, the southern and central United States can anticipate a cool but generally dry day to unfold. Clouds and flurries will stick around in the northern Plains, however.

The Rockies and West Coast will remain dry and sunny, with gusty weather propelling the wildfire threat.
