Marcus Walter is a broadcast meteorologist originally from Maywood, IL, a western suburb of Chicago. He hold a bachelor's degree in meteorology with a focus in weather forecasting and communications from the Pennsylvania State University. Along with his bachelor's degree, he will soon complete his master's degree in atmospheric science from Cornell University.
Most recently Marcus worked directly with ABC's Good Morning America weather anchor Sam Champion as his studio-live producer in New York City. In this role, he worked Champion, Ginger Zee, and the entire GMA weather team to manage the weather editorial content shown during the national broadcasts.
Marcus has also worked as a freelance meteorologist for WENY-TV News in Horseheads, NY.
