Jennifer Lindgren joined Channel 3 in August 2010. As a multimedia journalist, Jennifer shoots, writes and edits her own stories on a daily basis.
Jennifer grew up in Dallas and Atlanta, and holds a bachelor of journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Hook 'Em Horns!
Moving to Cleveland means trading in sand and sun for snow. She comes to Channel 3 from WTLV in Jacksonville Florida, where she worked as a reporter and fill in weekend anchor. Prior to that, Jennifer reported for WLTX in Columbia South Carolina and KXII in Sherman Texas.
Her stories have received recognition along the way. She's the recipient of a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for writing. In the past couple of years, the South Carolina Associated Press has honored her work for general assignment reporting, as well as the Florida Society of Professional Journalists for feature reporting.
While moving from the coast of Florida to the coast of Lake Erie is quite a climate change, Jennifer is looking forward to all northeast Ohio has to offer.
When she's not out and about meeting people and telling their stories, you can find her in the kitchen or on an airplane. Jennifer enjoys cooking and traveling in her free time.
