    Jennifer Murphy joined WKYC-TV3 as a general assignment reporter in January of 1996.

    Murphy was a reporter/producer at WBWT-TV in Florence, South Carolina. Prior to that she worked as an associate producer from WJW.

    Jennifer is a graduate of Boston College with a degree in journalism.

    Jennifer has an active role in our 6 p.m. newscast and covers not only hard news but feature stories as well. She recently won an Emmy for hard news coverage. Jennifer has been nominated for three Emmys and a Best of Gannett in hard news reporting and live reporting.

    Jennifer is married and she and her husband have two sons and a daughter. Since Jen has become a mom, she now works part-time.

    She also volunteers at the Cleveland Sight Center. She and her family love the outdoors, horseback riding, and skiing.
