Channel 3 News welcomes Lynn as the station's first-ever Backpack Journalist. She shoots, writes and edits her own stories.

Lynn Olszowy is a Cleveland native who joined WKYC-TV in the fall of 2007.

Lynn grew up in Brecksville and went to high school at Magnificat on the city's west side. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in English.

After college, Lynn spent three years at ESPN in Bristol, Conn. working on everything from X Games to figure skating.

She then decided to pursue her dream of becoming a reporter by attending Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism where she earned a Master's in Broadcast Journalism.

While at Medill, Lynn won a national SPJ Mark of Excellence award for TV Sports Reporting. Lynn also received Medill's Harrington Award, which honors the top graduate student in each discipline.

Lynn is thrilled to be reporting in her hometown and getting to tell stories that matter to her fellow Clevelanders.
