A six-time Emmy Award winning news anchor, Robinson is one of Cleveland's best-known and admired television Broadcasters. In 2002, Romona earned an Emmy in the "best news anchor" category for work she did in 2001, as well as in the "best news story" category for a report about a girl's struggle with anorexia.
