
Andrea Vecchio started her television career working as an Associate Producer at WEWS-TV for Cleveland's legendary morning show "The Morning Exchange."
During this time, Andrea had the opportunity to work among many of Cleveland's most talented journalists, including Fred Griffith.
While working as a producer on "The Morning Exchange," Andrea had an early taste of things to come when she received her first out of town assignment to interview Academy Award-Winning actor Tom Hanks.
Three years later, she left her hometown and traveled to Zainesville Ohio to begin her job as an on-air reporter for WHIZ-TV.
In 2000, Andrea returned to Cleveland and started working as a producer and entertainment reporter for her current broadcast home, WKYC-TV.
Is it here that Andrea has interviewed many of the Hollywood's elite: Robert DeNiro, Anthony Hopkins, Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, Justin Timberlake, Russell Crowe, Meryl Streep, Vince Vaughn, Matt Damon, Jamie Foxx and more!
In 2005, Andrea began her dual job as a television host and producer when WKYC-TV launched the new, local talk show "Good Company." You can also hear Andrea's movie entertainment reviews Friday mornings on WTAM 1100.
Andrea also serves as a Board Member for Kids in Flight, a charity organization that empowers seriously ill children and their families through flight experiences and educational programs. For more information, kids in flight.org.
Born and raised in Elyria Ohio, a graduate of Magnificat High School in Rocky River and a loyal Buckeye who received her Undergraduate Degree in English from Ohio State University, Andrea is delighted to be working in Cleveland close to her family.
In her spare time, Andrea enjoys taking sunny vacations, boat rides with friends, a good glass of wine with her mom's famous pasta dinner ... and watching Ohio State football!
