Andrea Vecchio started her television career working as an Associate Producer at WEWS-TV for Cleveland's legendary morning show The Morning Exchange.

During this time, Andrea had the opportunity to work among many of Cleveland's most talented journalists, including Fred Griffith.

While working as a producer on The Morning Exchange, Andrea had an early taste of things to come when she received her first out of town assignment to interview Academy Award-Winning actor Tom Hanks.

Three years later, she left her hometown and traveled to Zanesville Ohio to begin her job as an on-air reporter for WHIZ-TV. While in Zanesville, Andrea aired news reports for both the local television and radio stations.

In 2000, Andrea returned to Cleveland and started working as a producer and entertainment reporter for her current broadcast home, WKYC-TV. While working for WKYC-TV, Andrea has interviewed many of the Hollywood's elite: Robert DeNiro, Anthony Hopkins, Meryl Streep, Halle Berry, Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Jennifer Aniston and more!

In 2005, Andrea began her dual job as a television host and producer when WKYC-TV launched the local talk show Good Company. During her time on Good Company, Andrea has traveled around the world to cover movie premieres, including a trip to Bora Bora, she has cooked with top chefs, including Cleveland's own Iron Chef Michael Symon, and she has had the opportunity to interview sports legends like Cal Ripken Jr., Bernie Kosar and Joe Montana.

Andrea's hosting duties on Good Company also opened the door for a guest-role in Chicago when the Broadway musical came to PlayhouseSquare in Cleveland.

While with WKYC-TV, Andrea hosted a half-hour Broadway Special called Broadway Series Sneak Peak to promote the 2007 Broadway Series at PlayhouseSquare. Andrea received an Emmy nomination for this special. A member of the Broadcast Film Critic's Association, Andrea is a movie critic and a voting member in The Critic's Choice Awards.

Andrea has been featured on the covers of Cleveland Magazine and Westshore Magazine.

Born and raised in Elyria Ohio, a graduate of Magnificat High School in Rocky River and a loyal Buckeye who received her Undergraduate Degree in English from Ohio State University, Andrea is delighted to be working in Cleveland close to her family. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys traveling, spending time in Florida with her family, her mom's cooking, cheering on all Cleveland sports teams, including the Indians, Browns and Cavs! And especially watching Ohio State football... Go Bucks!
