Construction begins on Cleveland's new "Rock Box" sound installations

'Rock boxes' popping up all over downtown Cleveland

CLEVELAND - Get ready to rock, Cleveland.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is beginning construction on its new "Rock Boxes."

Each structure is an outdoor sound installation and will play music made famous by the hall's inductees several times a day.

The speakers are being placed at spots across downtown Cleveland.

They'll be ready to roll before next month's Republican National Convention.
