A taste of Mexico on Cinco de Mayo and more! What's cooking on Donovan Live?

The ladies ran the show on Friday's Donovan Live as Sara Shookman guest hosted for Jimmy. Here's what we had on our Cinco de Mayo menu:

We ran down the day's top headlines on '77 seconds at 7,' plus Danielle Serino's Consumer World, and in our latest 'Possible U,' Brandon Simmons explored Northeast Ohio's improving manufacturing sector.

Sara caught up with Dr. Jeffrey Hord of Akron Children's Hospital to talk about the great work being done by the LOPen and The Scott and Julie Mawaka Foundation.  This year's LOPen charity event will be a concert at Akron's Canal Park on August 5, featuring Rascal Flatts. You can also come hang with LOPen regular celebrities Bret Saberhagen, Jim McMahon, Mark Rypien, Larry “Grandmama” Johnson, Ted DiBiase Jr. (to name a few) and the crew while supporting the Akron Children’s Hospital.

It was an all-ladies edition of 3-on-3 as Sara, Betsy, and Danielle talk a toddler who had the time of his life while being rescued, name that new shade of blue, and one truly organic beer.  Betsy also gave us her weekend weather forecast.

And we wrapped up in the kitchen as Sara and Betsy were joined by Dan Huszai, bar manager at Nuevo Modern Mexican. Dan whipped up some great drinks in honor of Cinco de Mayo!
