SANDUSKY, OHIO - If you've been hanging around HalloWeekends at Cedar Point lately, you may have noticed something happening at the site of the old Mean Streak.
The Mean Streak had its final ride a month ago and its disassembly has started.
But there's now speculation on what's happening at the site of the old coaster. Some coaster enthusiasts believe Mean Streak will be repurposed as a steel-wood hybrid coaster, built by Rocky Mountain Construction.
This past week, iron beams were spotted at the site:

Cedar Point has not revealed its plans for the coaster.
