This year, WKYC, Milano Monuments and WKYC are joining forces to encourage N.E. Ohio to Live to Give!
Did you know that Lifebanc serves as northeast Ohio’s only nonprofit organ and tissue recovery organization?
Last year, Lifebanc helped to heal and save more than 25,000 lives.
There is an urgent need for registered organ, eye and tissue donors in Ohio and across the United States.
One organ donor can save eight lives, while one tissue donor can enhance the lives of more than 50 people. Ohioans must understand the truths about donation. Anyone at any age or medical history can become a registered organ, eye and tissue donor.
By becoming a registered organ, eye and tissue donor, one is making a legally binding, advance medical directive to save lives.
