NORAD to start tracking Santa on Dec. 1

The North American Aerospace Defense Command will continue a more than six decade tradition to track Santa Claus.

The man of the month can't hide from our watchful eye. The website to track him, NORAD Santa, debuts on Thursday.

Aside from the website, NORAD offers apps available in Windows, Apple and Google Play stores for on-the-go Santa tracking.

Were you naughty or nice this year? You've got mere weeks to get into tip-top shape.

In the meantime, take a peak inside Santa's crib in the North Pole. He's got pretty sweets digs that includes an oven with 12 different cookie settings.

FUN FACT: NORAD began tracking Santa Claus in 1955, after a media advertisement directing children to call Santa direct was misprinted. Instead of reaching Santa, the phone rang through to the Continental Air Defense Command Operations Center. NORAD picked up the duties in 1958.
