TWINSBURG, OHIO - PAWSibilities®, Humane Society of Greater Akron is excited to announce that the outpouring of community support resulted in over 100 animal adoptions in just 7 days.
PAWSibilites has rescued over 600 animals since the beginning of July.
Among the most recent rescues were 56 purebred Miniature Schnauzers.
With help from local media sources, people came out in droves to provide these Schnauzers, as well as lots of other animals, with the homes they deserve!
“We are humbled and ecstatic with the community support we received," the group's president/CEO Diane Johnson said in a statement. "We have never had such a great turn-out for adoptions! Our lobby was filled with people every day last week and the animals received the best gifts --loving homes. As we celebrate these adoptions, staff and volunteers are still very busy caring for close to 500 animals right now. We ask the community to continue to help us in any way they can. It truly takes a village to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome thousands of animals each year.”
PAWSibilites is in immediate need of community support and funds to help care for the close to 500 animals still being cared for.
Monetary donations help provide critical care, shelter, food, and vet services for rescued animals.
