For 62 years they wondered and waited. Imagine not knowing the fate of a loved one for that long.
The waiting, the mystery is now over for a local family.
And it seems only fitting that the news comes so close to Memorial Day.

At 17, Pryor Gobble looked at the Army as a way to serve his country while learning a new way of life, but just 8 months into his tour, he went missing.
First declared missing in action, then dead, his family here in Northeast Ohio was left to wait and wonder.
Pictures and medals were the only remembrance they had of their missing brother.
Then just 3 weeks ago, the family got a phone call from the military. After 62 years, he was no longer missing, as Pryor's remains had been found.
On Wednesday, the family got full disclosure about his last days in Korea. The remains where handed over in 1994 but it took this long to match the DNA.
Although there is a site at the Arlington National Cemetery for Pryor, the family says they will have him buried locally so family and friends won't have to travel to pay their respects.
