We begin with a bizarre kidnapping story.
A woman who snatched a newborn from a New York hospital more than two decades ago and raised the child as her own has been sentenced to 12 years in prison. Ann Pettway pleaded guilty to kidnapping, saying she took a train from her Connecticut home to a Harlem Hospital in 1987. While there, she says she scooped up a 3-week-old who was brought to the emergency room with a fever.
A group of very lucky people were riding the new Superman ride in California when they got stuck for nearly two hours. Thankfully they got stuck upright. Firefighters had to use a crane to rescue the passengers.
