New book features local fire departments

A new book features several local fire departments, and for the next few days, your advanced purchase can help a great cause.

"Code 3 Water Thieves" is the name of the book. It's 256 pages in full color, featuring 11 fire departments in the Southwest Cleveland suburbs. Featured departments include Berea, Brookpark, Brunswick, Hinckley and Strongsville. You'll get to see action shots of the firefighters, and the department's trucks and rescue squads.

The book's publisher is local, too. It was published by OFGN Publishing, a family-owned business in Olmsted Falls.
