CLEVELAND - A man is dead after he was pulled from Lake Erie on Sunday afternoon. 

The Coast Guard responded to East 72nd Street marina shortly before 2 p.m. The 37-year-old Cleveland man was on the fishing platform when he fell, according to Cleveland MetroParks rangers.

He was taken by EMS to University Hospitals where he later died. 

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner along with the Cleveland MetroParks rangers are investigating the man's death. However, there appears to be no signs of foul play.
