In an opinion piece penned for NBC News, actor Bill Murray offered his perspective on the students turned activists following the Parkland school shooting.

Murray says the Parkland kids remind him of the students who protested the Vietnam war.

"It was the students who made all the news, and that noise started, and then the movement wouldn't stop," Murray told Mega Carpentier, who edited and condensed his words for THINK, an opinion-based offset of NBC News. "I think, maybe, this noise that those students in Florida are making — here, today — will do something of the same nature."
