As Joe Thomas steps into retirement, the man who called all of his games for the Browns, Jim Donovan, offers a tribute to the future Hall of Famer.

The face of the Cleveland Browns called it quits on Wednesday.

Left tackle Joe Thomas has decided to walk away from the game of football.

After 11 years in the National Football League, Thomas informed the Browns of his decision to retire, and they announced the news through a post on their Twitter account Wednesday afternoon.

Thomas was a 10-time Pro Bowler and is a lock for enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In a statement, he said he 'will always be a Cleveland Brown.'

The 'Voice of the Browns,' Jim Donovan, called every one of Thomas' games from his rookie season in 2007, to the end of his 10,363 consecutive snaps streak in 2017. Jimmy pays tribute to Joe Thomas in special video. Watch in the player above.

Jimmy was also joined by his partner on the Cleveland Browns Radio Network, Doug Dieken, for thoughts on Joe Thomas' career on Donovan Live. LIke Thomas, Dieken played left tackle for the Browns and wore the same number 73.
