WATCH | Local 'Face Off' contestants craft makeup creation

Ever wonder what it takes to create a creature worthy of being featured on the big screen?

CLEVELAND -- Ever wonder what it takes to create a creature worthy of being featured on the big screen?

A pair of local makeup artists who recently competed on season 12 of SyFy's Face Off spent Friday morning here at WKYC’s studios to show us their skills.

Jill Burgner of Parma and Alan Tuskes of Lakewood crafted a makeup live all morning, which you can watch in its entirety below.

The process took a 46-year-old woman and turned her into an elderly lady.

Burgner has been a scare actor inside Bloodview haunted house in Broadview Heights for years, while Tuskes has worked on dozens upon dozens of feature films -- including the recent Cleveland-filmed Matthew McConaughey movie White Boy Rick.
