You can't celebrate Valentine's Day without candy, whether you're a chocolate lover or prefer something fruity.
According to 10 years of data analyzed by CandyStore.com, America's favorite candy to celebrate Feb. 14 is conversation hearts. The crunchy little hearts accounted for 10.2 percent of Valentine's Day candy sales in 2017.
But Ohio still prefers something a little more classic. According to CandyStore.com's data, Ohioans reach for the traditional heart-shaped boxes of chocolates. The Buckeye state will purchase more than 53,000 boxes this year.
Conversation hearts were Ohio's second choice, followed by Wild Berry Skittles.
One of the oddest choices was Alabama's liking for candy necklaces.
