When we think of Cleveland, much focus if often given to the lakefront, the snow, or the sports teams. Now, a famous television station is giving the city props for one of its best cultural attractions.
The Travel Channel has named the Cleveland Museum of Art the seventh best free public museum in the United States, even ahead of the famous Alamo in Texas. The station article lauded the museum for its annual Parade Circle event, as well as being "a kaleidoscope of color and energy."
The CMA celebrated the honor on its Facebook page.
As for the best no-fee museum in America, that honor unsurprisingly went to the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C.
