Willoughby coffee shop in search of stolen picture

A bare wall is what is left after a picture was stolen from Fiona's Coffee Shop, in Willoughby, on Tuesday.

A bare wall is what is left after a picture was stolen from Fiona's Coffee Shop in Willoughby Tuesday.

Fiona's is a family restaurant, owned by a trio of siblings. The shop is filled wit photographs, pictures and eclectic artwork.

"My mom was on the hunt to find different kinds of pictures to hang at Fiona's before we opened, to find different and unique things... the missing picture was a conversation piece," Megan Coyne, co-owner of Fiona's says.

The stolen artwork photographs a squirrel eating a donut, representing the sweets and baked goods sold in the bakery.

After the coffee shop posted about the missing picture on Facebook, hundreds have spread the word to locate the image, some even offering to replace the squirrel wit their own ideas.

Kevin Coyne, co-owner of Fiona's says, "There's so bad in the world, it's good thing everyone is sharing our story. They want to know what happened to the picture, and have offered to help us."

Fiona's Coffee Shop and Bakery will not press charges, they just want their picture. If anyone has the image, the owners ask it be left at the front door.
