The suspect was shot at the home before he led police on a highway chase.

Three suspects are in custody for a home invasion in Lorain early Monday.

According to police, officers responded to a call of shots fired near the 3000 block of Fulmer Road. As officers checked the area, they were flagged down by a man who told them his home had just been robbed.

The homeowner said three men kicked his apartment door in and threatened him and his girlfriend with guns. The men stole money and valuables from the homeowner before fleeing the scene.
