ODOT preparing for next snowfall

Get ready, snow is coming!

Ohio Department of Transportation snow plow operators will begin reporting in Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga counties to battle whatever mother nature brings to northeast Ohio this week.

Many trucks are already out prepping roads for the big snow on the way.

District 12 roads will be fully staffed with snow plows that will operate around the clock until the storm moves out.

As of Monday afternoon, a Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Ashtabula and Geauga counties from 7 p.m. Monday until Wednesday afternoon.

WKYC's Hollie Strano is forecasting 8+ inches of snow is possible for some parts of Ashtabula and Geauga counties.
