Cavaliers star LeBron James got some good off-the-court news on Monday. According to Variety, NBC has opted to pick up a third season of the James-produced game show "The Wall" for 20 episodes.

Executive produced by James, Maverick Carter, Andrew Glassman, and host Chris Hardwick, “The Wall” premiered in 2016, with contestants competing for a grand prize each episode of more than $12 million.

“We’re proud to see people connecting with ‘The Wall’ both at home and around the world in a way you don’t usually see with game shows,” said Carter, CEO of SpringHill Entertainment, the production company co-owned by James. “We created the format with the idea that families would all come together and root for these incredible stories, so to see that actually happening on a global scale is exciting and something we hope continues to grow.”

Several Northeast Ohio families have won big on 'The Wall' since it came on the air. John and Angel Whorton won $1.3 million dollars when the show first came on the air in December 2016. LeBron surprised the couple with a bag of cash to celebrate (which soon went to the bank).

On January 29 of this year, we saw newlyweds Nick and Steve Duve win $89,000 on 'The Wall.' They are planning to use the money to help adopt a baby boy.
