Weather alerts issued ahead of winter storm

This storm is bringing a blast of ice and snow.

The majority of northern Ohio is under a WINTER STORM WATCH as ice and snow head into the area.

- Stark

- Summit

- Trumbull

- Tuscarawas

- Wayne

“A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel,” according to the National Weather Service.

It's likely this weather alert will be upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning as the storm edges closer.
