Winter storm triggers weather alerts: How much snow to expect

Here we go again...

Driving conditions could be tough Monday as another winter storm hits Northeast Ohio with a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain.

That's why the National Weather Service has issued a series of weather alerts throughout the entire region. Here's how it all breaks down...

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY now until 1 p.m. with 1-3 inches of snow in the following counties:

- Ashland

- Cuyahoga

- Erie

- Holmes

- Huron

- Lorain

- Medina

- Ottawa

- Richland

- Sandusky

- Seneca

- Stark

- Summit

- Wayne

The heaviest snow is expected to fall in the counties above from 4-9 a.m.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY now until 4 p.m. with 2-5 inches of snow in the following counties:

- Ashtabula

- Geauga

- Lake

- Mahoning

- Portage

- Trumbull

The heaviest snow is expected to fall in the counties above from 6 a.m. through 1 p.m.
