NORTHEAST OHIO -- Pit bulls, dogs that some people consider dangerous, often help contribute to animal shelter overpopulation.
PetFix Northeast Ohio is looking to bring those numbers down -- one surgery at a time.
It will only cost $20 in August to have your pit bull spayed or neutered. That includes a free nail trim. The August $20 pit bull program is sponsored by PetSmart charities.
PetFix founder Timy Sullivan, who is also a PetFix board member, brought Teddy, a young pit bull, to the Channel 3 studios Friday.
If you would like to spay or neuter your pet at a low cost, make an appointment by emailing FixemNow@aol.com or you can make an appointment online here.
