STO Talent Shoot @ Classic Worldwide Production

This past week all three of us got the chance to attend a production shoot for Sports Time Ohio or commonly known as STO. The shoot was being held at Classic Worldwide Productions on East Royalton Road in Cleveland. They were shooting footage of all the on-air talent for the upcoming 2009-2010 season. The footage will be used to create numerous commercials, promos, and show openers. This shoot was unlike anything we had seen before. Over a course of three days, STO and Classic Worldwide Productions would shoot close to 15 people. The talent was shot in front of a huge painted green wall so that the graphics could be added in post production. Numerous cameras were set up all over the studio to help catch every angle imaginable. A make-up artist was even on set to help make the talent look their best! STO's marketing department was also on hand to make sure everything was running smoothly and on time. To help out on the shoot, we wrote cue cards, timed scripts, helped with props, and even picked up lunch for the team (of course we got fed too!). It was a fantastic learning experience to see such a large shoot and experience another side of the entertainment industry.
