Chef Heather Haviland's Mac-N-Cheese - The Home Edition (Single Portion)
Penne Pasta (cooked per instructions)
1 Cup Farm Fresh Heavy Cream
2 oz. Brie (cut into small pieces)
½ Cup - Shredded soft cheeses (i.e., Mozzarella, Provolone, Sharp Cheddar)
1 Tbs. Parmesan
Bread Crumbs (high quality)
Salt, pepper and paprika to taste
1)Preheat Oven to 425 degrees
2)Cook off penne pasta as per directions from the producer. Set aside. Make sure to salt the boiling water in order for pasta to have appropriate seasoning.
3) Bring to a boil 1 Cup farm fresh heavy cream.
4)Add salt, black pepper and paprika to taste.
5)Add pasta, plus 1 Tbs. parmesan, 2 oz. of Brie, and ½ Cup total of shredded soft cheeses.
6)Stir to combine and pour into a baking crock. Place baking crock on a baking sheet to prevent overflow into oven.
7)Top with bread crumbs.
8)Bake at 425 for 5 to 10 minutes until top is golden brown.
