The Euclid Community Easter Egg Hunt with more than 30,000 eggs is at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Living Waters Church of God, 24951 N. Lakeland Boulevard, and there will also be Easter basket and prize giveaways.
The 26th annual Solon Easter Egg Hunt by the Solon Italian Club and the Solon Recreation Department is at noon Saturday at Stewart Field at Solon High School, 33600 Inwood Drive.
The Chagrin Valley Jaycees Chagrin Falls Easter Egg Hunt starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at Riverside Park at 82 North Main Street in downtown Chagrin Falls, for children 11 and under. The Easter Bunny will be there as well.
You can visit Eggshelland at 1031 Linden Lane in Lyndhurst. Since 1957, Lyndhurst residents Ron and Betty Manolio have transformed their front yard into Eggshelland for the days between Palm Sunday and Easter. This year's Eggshelland theme is "We Can Fly" and features mosaics made out of more than 40,000 eggs in 24 colors. Designs include a bluebird, a goldfinch, a hummingbird, an oriole, a scarlet tanager -- and the Cavaliers logo.
The Kiwanis Club of Brecksville annual Easter Egg Hunt gets underway promptly at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Oak Grove Picnic Area in the Brecksville Metroparks Reservation for children 12 and under.
The Broadview Heights Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt is at Broadview Center, 9543 Broadview Road, beginning promptly at 10 a.m. Saturday.
In Medina, the First Christian Church of Medina Easter Egg Hunt starts at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church at 4797 Sharon-Copley Road in Medina. (it's the corner of Routes 3 South and 162).
In Akron, the Wedgewood United Methodist Church Easter Egg Hunt gets underway at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church at 2350 Wedgewood Drive in Akron.
The Westfield-SouthPark Shopping Center in Strongsville will host Easter in the Mall Sunday. The event will begin at 10 a.m. with an Easter egg hunt for children ages 10 and younger. The hunt will feature 16,000 eggs with 55,000 pieces of candy. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for pictures. There will be a coloring contest and inflatables for children to play in.
Have Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. There are a lot of animals at the zoo -- lions and tigers and bears, wolves, seals and kangaroos, snakes, reindeer and Easter Bunnies. Easter Bunnies? This Saturday, have breakfast with the bunny, beginning at 8:30 a.m., and it includes a full breakfast buffet in the RainForest, face-painting, crafts, an egg hunt, "get close animal encounters" and, of course, visits with the Easter bunny. Tickets are $22.50 per person, $18.50 for kids ages 2 to 11 and free for children under 2. They include all-day admission to the Zoo and RainForest. Call (216) 661-6500.
You can also Breakfast With The Bunny at the Akron Zoo from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday and afterwards enjoy an outdoor egg hunt in the Komodo Kingdom Education Center. The Egg Hunt takes place at 10:30am in the zoo's Legends of the Wild. Cost is non-members: $19 adults, $21 children; and Members: $14 adults, $16 children. The Ukrainian Easter Bazaar is at the Ukrainian Museum-Archives, 1202 Kenilworth Avenue in Cleveland. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday you can see hundreds of handcrafted items.
There's the Easter Bunny Express on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. The seasonal adventure on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad takes to the rails Saturday and Sunday for a round-trip voyage that includes a puppet show, crafts and an egg hunt.
