ASHLAND - The Ohio State Highway Patrol says two horse and buggies were racing on County Road 758 on the way to church Sunday morning.

Jacob Raber was racing in the left lane when a car suddenly appeared. Raber couldn't get over in time and crashed into the car.

Trooper Jermey Burgett with the Ohio State Patrol tells Channel 3 that the horse is ok, the woman of the car was able to stop, but not before the buggy clipped her car. She was not injured and was heading to church in the other direction.

Raber suffered minor injuries. The three other people in his buggy were not injured.

He was charged with driving left of center. The driver of the other buggy was not charged.
