BELLEVUE -- A teen in northwest Ohio is dead after falling off a wind turbine at a high school.
The boy's sister says he had been drinking with friends when they decided to climb the tower that sits on the grounds of Bellevue High School.
Police in Bellevue say 17-year-old Ernesto Garcia lost his footing and fell. The Sandusky Register reports his sister says his friends carried him to their car and drove him to the hospital.
Several media outlets report that Garcia died early Monday at a hospital in Toledo.
Police say they weren't told about the accident until after the boy was taken to the hospital.
