AKRON - Wanted for two counts of felonious assault, police say Michael Sharp is finally off the streets.
Police arrested the fugitive at a motel on Springside Drive in Copley. Sharp was taken into custody around 4 p.m. Friday. He was wanted for a series of crimes.
Sharp's most recent encounter with law enforcement was on July 3. Sharp was wanted in the shooting of two women outside the Stadium Lounge.
Sharp is also wanted for an aggravated robbery on May 25, 2011, where he robbed a man at gunpoint on Copley Road.
Sharp was also wanted for firing a gun into a crowd on Noble Avenue on May 19.
Police say he shot into a crowd of people holding a memorial service for Quentin Terrell.
Felicia Reynolds, Sharp's mother, was also arrested for obstructing justice.
