CLEVELAND -- There's one group of anglers who are getting recognized all over the country, and it's not always for their great fishing techniques.
They are the North Coast Black Bass Anglers Association.
Started back in 2001 by a group of friends from another fishing organization, this group of anglers has spent the last decade upholding one of its mottos that's a rare find for a club -- "inclusion, not exclusion."
The group is one of the nation's few predominantly African American bass fishing clubs, although anyone is able to join.
NCBBAA isn't all about competition either.
In fact, they've won numerous awards for their youth projects, public relations and community service.
Among the greatest aspects of NCBBAA is that the organization is made up of people who value fish and water conservation, good sportsmanship and friendship.
Being actively involved in the community doesn't mean they aren't competitive at the same time.
These anglers hold competitions for people of all ages. Having a good time on the water is what works for the North Coast Black Bass Anglers Association.
