CLEVELAND -- The men and women deciding the fate of an accused serial killer have now deliberated a total of 15 hours over 3 days. They spent all of Friday morning continuing their work.
The jury, composed of 7 women and 5 men, resumed their deliberations in the Anthony Sowell case at 9 a.m. Friday, and worked until 12:30 p.m., when they broke for lunch. The jurors have continued largely uninterrupted since late Wednesday afternoon, having had no questions for Judge Dick Ambrose.
After the lunch break, they informed the court they had reached their verdict.
The verdict will be read at 2:15 p.m. in open court.
