CLEVELAND -- It's much on the minds of residents around Imperial Avenue and East 123rd Street.

According to Mayor Frank Jackson's spokesperson, the city has reached out to the Cuyahoga County prosecutor and asked for the "all-clear."

Now that the trial is over, it's not necessary to keep the house around for evidence.

Once it's released, the city's housing department will begin researching ownership.

The city says it is moving as aggressively as the law will allow.

Ultimately, most neighbors and residents want the house torn down.

Until such a decision is made, it remains locked up and guarded by a Cleveland police officer.
