"Behind the Scenes of a Crisis: September 11th, Ten Years Later" will be a powerful day of intense reflection and discussion of the terrorist attacks that shook the nation, and forever changed history.
The day-long event, at CSU Wolstein Center, brings together survivor stories from inside the doomed World Trade Center; the media covering the attacks; an Oberlin air traffic controller who tracked Flight 93 as it careened into Cleveland airspace, eventually crashing in Shanksville, Pennsylvania; and many other investigators and professionals who scrambled in response to the crisis.
WKYC-TV's Eric Mansfield will moderate a morning panel discussion beginning at 9 a.m. The event, presented by The Press Club of Cleveland, is open to the public. Here is a link for ticket prices and online registration information.
The event's keynote speaker is Tom Evans, a former CIA profiler who specializes in the psychology of terrorism and violence. He was asked to profile Osama bin Laden for the CIA in the 1970's.
