CLEVELAND -- "The Avengers" has wrapped in Cleveland but it could be just the beginning of the future for the city's partnership with Hollywood.
Tuesday was the final day of shooting for "The Avengers" production time in Cleveland.
"The Avengers" is one of a handful of movies making this a blockbuster summer for the city.
It's estimated the movies shot here left an economic impact of $85 million and created 1,000 jobs.
The movie "I, Alex Cross" is still shooting in Akron.
This summer has been more than a handful of movie productions, it's been about starting to create a permanent movie-making business in Cleveland.
Greater Cleveland Film Commission Executive Director, Ivan Schwarz, says he has received good reviews about the city, its cooperation, its variety of sites and the weather from movie producers. He hopes they will spread the word among their colleagues in the movie-making business.
Three more movies are already in the pipeline to shoot here.
