STOW -- Just before midnight Monday, police got an anonymous tip that they should pay a visit to 2106 Uniondale Drive because methamphetamine was being illegally produced.
Police report that two men were producing meth in the garage and throughout the house.
One of the men had a weapon in his hand and ran from police into the home.
Both men were arrested without incident.
Stephen Gene McKinney, 41, of Norman Drive, was charged with illegal manufacture of drugs, weapons under disability, and possession of drugs.
Police also charged Lewis Gene Butler Jr., 38, of Uniondale Drive, with illegal manufacture of drugs.
According to police, both men have previous drug arrest records.
Police seized two weapons, both were loaded.
A two-year-old child was in the home at the time of the arrests.
Both men were taken to the Summit County Jail where they are expected to be arraigned this morning.
