“School teachers, book keepers, doctors, lawyers . . . it runs the gamut,” said FBI Spec. Agent Bob Hawk. “Nothing surprises me anymore”.
Jay Goldblatt, 47, is counsel for Pubco Corporation. He does not practice criminal law.
The FBI says Goldblatt was arrested Tuesday night. He will be charged with compelling prostitution with a minor.
“We arranged a meeting,” Hawk said. “He was going to pay several hundred dollars for the services of an 11-year-old female. What he met with was his arrest.
His ex-wife Donna Levy declined an interview with Target 3. The couple has two children of their own.
Goldblatt just moved onto Bryden Rd. in Beachwood. His property actually backs up into Bryden Elementary School. It is a location that gives his neighbors pause.
Mike silver has an 8-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter.
“He was the kind of person as far as I knew I would have let my daughter go over and help unpack so certainly now that raises questions,” Silver said.
Goldblatt was released on a 10,000 bond. His case is now before a grand jury.
Despite attempts to reach Goldblatt at his office and home, the suspect was not available for an interview.
