ELYRIA -- Willie Davis, Jr. was arrested Friday evening after driving drunk with his son in the backseat of the car.
Around 6 p.m., Elyria police received a call that a car on E. Bridge Street had stopped in the middle of the lane.
When an officer approached Davis, he noticed that his speech was slow and slurred.
The officer also noticed that Davis' 6-year-old son was in the backseat of the car.
Davis failed the sobriety test and was arrested for OVI.
He was charged with endangering children and impeding traffic.
